The Cultural Alliance of York County will once again host the 2021-22 regional finals for Poetry Out Loud (date TBD). All high school students in Adams, Franklin, Fulton and York counties are eligible to participate in this national recitation contest. Each participating school will send their winner to our regional contest. Our regional winner will virtually join 14 other regional winners at the state finals in Harrisburg (TBD) with the winner proceeding to the national finals (TBD). Poetry Out Loud is a partnership between the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts (PCA), and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Poetry Out Loud is free and provides standards-based curriculum materials to schools, teachers, and students.
