Cultural Alliance Announces New Campaign Director
The Cultural Alliance of York County has named Jennifer Glassmyer as its Campaign Director. As the newest member of the Cultural Alliance team, Glassmyer is responsible for management of the annual campaign. Her primary focus is on data management and support of both volunteers and donors. Other duties include managing the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts partnership and maintenance of the campaign associated website.
“The Cultural Alliance of York County is dedicated to creating community through the arts,” said Mary Anne Winkelman, President of the Cultural Alliance. “Both the York community and our partner agencies will benefit from Jennifer’s knowledge and enthusiasm and strategic approach to fundraising, and we’re excited for her to join our team.”
Prior to joining the Cultural Alliance, Glassmyer worked for York Catholic High School as their Director of Constituent Relations and Special Events. Jennifer is no stranger to Downtown as she has been a part-time associate at Kimmans for Gifts for the past 5 years and worked for several years at The Yorktowne Hotel as their Wedding Coordinator.
A 1997 graduate of York College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Jennifer has years of experience in managing annual funds, coordinating volunteer activities, building relationships with donors and special event planning.
The Cultural Alliance grants operating funds to 8 partner agencies and, through the Creative Impact Awards, grants project funds to individuals or non-profits with a new and exciting idea to impact our community. From New Freedom to Hanover, downtown to east York, the Cultural Alliance brings arts and culture to life. The Cultural Alliance’s annual campaign has granted $8 million cash and more than $2 million in-kind support since 2000.
